Use water-saving devices

Check for leaks

To check whether there are any leaks in your home, close all the taps and observe your water meter for a few minutes to make sure it does not move. If it does, it means there is a leak somewhere in your home - dripping taps or cisterns, a leaking pipe, etc. One thing you should check carefully is the cistern. After use, make sure the mechanism works properly and there are no leaks. If there are any leaks in your home, have them repaired immediately, however small they may seem: 10 drops of water per minute mean 2,000 litres of water wasted every year.
